Midway State's Daenen Bramberger: Slightly tortured valentine

Buzznet:
Any specific plans for Valentine's Day this year? If so who are you spending it with and where?

Daenen: We're actually going to be spending this Valentine's Day on the road... So we'll be spending it with everyone who comes out to the show that night in Seattle. What could be better??

Buzznet: If you were to stay at home this Valentine's Day and watch a movie with a loved one, what movie would you watch and why?

Daenen: I'd watch Full Metal Jacket and try to find all the pieces of romance that no one usually looks for.

Buzznet: Have you ever received a love letter from someone or have you ever wrote a love letter to someone? If so who was it from or too and what did you or that person say?

Daenen: When I was in grade five I had a crush on a girl who was far more popular (and better looking) than I. In the spirit of Valentine's day I got some chocolates and a stuffed animal to show her how I felt. It took half the day to get up enough nerve to present her with the gifts, and when I finally did, at the last second, I choked and told her they were
actually from my friend and I was simply delivering them. He got a kiss, and I lost two weeks worth of allowance.

Buzznet: Are you telling anyone in particular you love them this Valentine's Day? If so who is it and what makes this person deserve your love?

Daenen: I'm not going to tell anyone that I love them that doesn't already know it... I just hope someone tells me they love me. That would be nice... who doesn't like to hear that?

Buzznet: What do you do when trying to set the mood for a romantic date? What does the date consist of, where does it take place, what do you wear, cook, listen too, go?

Daenen: I like the element of surprise; making over her apartment while she's at work so that when she comes home there's flower pedals and candles everywhere - with easy music playing on the stereo. Champagne chilling within arms reach of the tub is always a nice, subtle, suggestion I think...
