Kraak & Smaak bringing funk to a city near you

Kraak & Smaak claim they have been "rotating your funky ass since 2003" - they really couldn't put it any better.

If you are a soul child (like me) and always searching for the funkiest new sound, well then you know it is rarely delivered by an artist "everyone" has heard of. That's right you have to dig through the dusty crates of Ameoba or look through your father's record collection, because people just don't get down like they used too. (hehehe)

K&S is not doing anything groundbreaking, but they know quality breaks and beats and they know how to get their audience dancing -- all in all throw a party!

Thanks to the three Dutchmen - Mark Kneppers, Oscar De Jong and Wim Plug - funk was back in full fledge at the Echo Plex last night in Los Angeles, CA. While you may not have heard of K&S you certainly have heard of the musical talent they make and remix- Jamiroquai, Mark Rae, and Richard Dorfmeister.

In honor of K&S' newest single - 'Squeeze Me feat Ben Westbeech' you can click here to download the mp3 for Jem Stone (Soul of Man, Fingerlickin’ Records) remix.

Kraak & Smaak upcoming tour dates:

3.22 - San Francisco @ Mojito
3.23 - Whistler @ Tommy Africas
3.24 - Atlanta @ Halo Lounge
3.26 - Miami @ Purdy Lounge
