Buzznet: What is your physical feature that most resembles your Dad?
Rivers Cuomo: My mustache.
BN: What is your personality trait that most resembles your Dad?
RC: Intensity, spirituality and goofiness.
BN: What song makes you think of your Dad?
RC: Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo, Adagio Movement: because my dad played this for me in the caravan driving through the Alps one summer when I was 16.
BN: Who is your favorite fictional Dad (tv character/movie)?
RC: Rick Moranis in “Honey I Shrunk the Kids.”
BN: How has your Dad influenced your musical career in anyway?
RC: My crib was in the same room as my dad’s drums, so he’s been influencing me musically since the very beginning. I always wanted to be a musician because I always wanted to be like him.
BN: If you could sing/play your Dad any song for Father’s Day this year – what would you play?
RC: Bill Withers’ “Lean on Me”: because I want him to know that I’ll always be there for him.
